The Campaign for St. Luke Serbian Orthodox Church
Dear Friends and Parishioners of St. Luke Serbian Orthodox Church,
“Let every person give according to the purposes of their
heart…” (II Corinthians 9:7a)
The above words of St. Paul in his letter to the Corinthians are particularly relevant
in our effort to successfully complete the Campaign for St. Luke Serbian Orthodox
Church. You may have recently viewed a PowerPoint presentation on our Campaign or
there may be materials concerning the Campaign that accompany this letter.
As you may know, the Campaign is to raise $1,250,000. The benefits to the community
are the following:
We humbly request a meaningful and personally significant gift, which can be given
in a five-year pledge. Of course, only you can decide what a sacrificial gift from
your family is. Please know that we shall be grateful for whatever you may choose
to give. And if you are not in a position to give, we humbly ask for your good will
and your prayers.
- Maintain the upper two floors of the building as a rectory, office & classroom
- Completely renovate and expand the lower level (doubles the footprint) to include
space for a sanctuary (180 person capacity), social hall (159 person capacity),
and new kitchen.
Renovate our grounds to include new parking & driveways, lighting, landscaping,
and a new storm water management system.
